Compared to conventional power sources for mobile communication sites, this solution saves more than 13,000 kWh per year—ensuring lower costs and a more sustainable energy supply.
Whitecell Systems methanol-powered fuel cell systems chosen as the back-up power source for the German State of Brandenburg’s BOS digital radio network
Whitecell Systems signed a three-year agreement with the German state of Brandenburg in September 2022 for our methanol-powered fuel cell systems. The total value of the fuel cell systems sold to Brandenburg amounted to approximately $1.6 million. Our fuel cell systems were selected as a backup power source for Brandenburg’s BOS digital radio network, replacing diesel-powered emergency generators at multiple sites. This transition is expected to reduce CO₂ emissions by over 80% compared to diesel generators.
